Couple exits wedding amidst sparklers.

Elegant Summer Wedding at Ceresville Mansion | Valerie & Jawanza

Valerie and Jawanza’s wedding was a beautiful fusion of faith, family, culture, and joy. From their heartfelt first touch at St. Rose of Lima Parish to the unforgettable sparkler exit at Ceresville Mansion, every moment was filled with warmth and intention. With soft pink, ivory, and gold tones framing the day, their celebration was equal parts timeless and vibrant.

A Day Filled with Intention and Beauty

On a warm July day, Valerie got ready at her parents’ home in Germantown, surrounded by her closest friends, family, and their sweet dog Rosie. There were delicate heirlooms laid out — a rosary, vow books, ring boxes, something borrowed, something blue. Nearby, Jawanza prepared for the day with quiet joy.

Rather than a first look, the couple chose a first touch — an emotional, quiet moment with their backs turned and hands entwined. No glances, just presence. Just love. This moment was one of the most memorable as a Ceresville Mansion wedding photographer, reminding me how powerful stillness and anticipation can be.

A Ceremony Rooted in Tradition

The ceremony took place at St. Rose of Lima Parish — a reverent Catholic service officiated by Deacon Frank. The couple honored their family with a memory table, rosary, and personal vows. Light poured in through the stained glass, surrounding them in a peaceful glow as they tied the knot.

Reception at Ceresville Mansion

After portraits, the celebration moved to the romantic Ceresville Mansion. Elegant pink and gold accents filled the ballroom. Guests enjoyed heartfelt speeches, a surprise dance by the groom’s cousin, and high-energy Peruvian dance performances that lit up the room

A Sparkling Goodbye

As the night closed, Valerie and Jawanza stepped out under a sky of sparklers — a glowing farewell to an unforgettable day.
