An intimate Morningside Inn Wedding in Frederick |Haylee & Greg
Haylee and Greg’s Morningside Inn wedding had a refined, easygoing vibe that fit them perfectly. Set in Frederick, Maryland, Morningside Inn gave them the kind of setting that feels elegant without being over-the-top—classic, peaceful, and full of character.
They held their ceremony outside, surrounded by rolling hills and wooded views. The setup was tasteful and timeless, with the afternoon sun casting that warm, golden light that makes everything feel cinematic. It was a beautiful moment—graceful and personal, with just the right amount of formality.
We had the honor of photographing and filming the day, capturing both the still and moving pieces of their story. Cocktail hour took place on the patio, where guests enjoyed drinks, caught up with each other, and took in the view. Meanwhile, we walked with Haylee and Greg around the property for portraits. One of the best things about a Morningside Inn wedding is how effortless it is to find great photo spots without ever leaving the venue—and the sunsets here are seriously something special.
The reception moved indoors, where floor-to-ceiling windows kept the view in sight while everyone settled in to celebrate. The speeches were genuine and had just the right mix of emotion and humor, and once the music started, the dance floor stayed busy.
If you’re looking for a venue that blends natural beauty, comfort, and flexibility, a Morningside Inn wedding is a great choice. Located right in Frederick, it’s easy to get to, but feels like a tucked-away retreat. Haylee and Greg’s day felt easy and polished in all the right ways—from the ceremony to the final dance.
