Tilghman Island Wedding. Jackie + Zack
Tilghman Island Wedding | Jacky + Zack
Jacky and Zack’s Tilghman Island wedding was the kind of day that feels effortless—in the best way. Set against the serene backdrop of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Tilghman Island offered everything they wanted: water views, a quiet atmosphere, and that peaceful, small-town charm.
They started the day in cozy waterfront cottages, just a short drive from their ceremony spot. Jacky got ready with her closest friends while Zack and his guys spent the morning swapping stories and tying ties. The ceremony was held steps from the bay, with the breeze coming off the water and soft afternoon light that made every moment feel a little more special.
One of the most unforgettable parts of this Tilghman Island wedding was the reception at Black Walnut Point Inn, a historic and secluded venue right at the southern tip of the island. Surrounded by water on nearly every side, it offered panoramic views, a peaceful vibe, and the perfect place to celebrate. Guests gathered under the trees and danced under string lights, with the bay quietly reflecting the glow in the background.
As wedding photographers, we love capturing weddings that feel true to the couple, and this Tilghman Island weddingdid exactly that. It was personal, scenic, and full of genuine moments. We explored the docks for portraits, took in the golden hour views, and documented the celebration in a way that felt relaxed and real—just like Jacky and Zack.
If you’re planning a wedding on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and want something peaceful, romantic, and naturally beautiful, a Tilghman Island wedding—especially one hosted at Black Walnut Point Inn—is a hidden gem worth exploring.
